Testimonial Series – 4
I’m back again, and I perhaps should have been keeping a regular journal of testimonies.
This one is really about The Temple for Yah to dwell in.
We should be striving to purify our temples for Yahuah to dwell in, so we can be with Him.
CLEANSING THE TEMPLE – IT’S A PROCESS!
My battle and tasks are to clean myself up as much as I can with the time I have left to me.
So, out has gone pretty much all of the things that can corrupt and pollute it.
That includes what I ingest internally and through my eyes and ears.
So, I try not to associate at places with bad language and filthy habits, and that may include not associating so much with friends in the world, as it is easy to slip back into filthy habits and ways.
I initially stopped eating shellfish and pork, and removing all gelatin products such as supplement capsules, and took a more holistic approach. I did have some help with that as I asked Yah about it, and I was shown microgreens.
This was phase 1 and probably has lasted a little over a year.
The next phase of cleansing the temple would become a “2 steps forward, 1 step back” as I was starting to incorporate an intermittent fasting regime for discipline and to regulate and heal the body. Incorporating cardiovascular exercise too was starting to have some weight loss effects.
However, I needed to go to the next phase, which was going to be the toughest thing so far in my life to undertake – to my memory.
This was to remove meat from my diet and further purify and cleanse my temple.
Before microgreens, I was practically a carnivore, so this going ‘back to the garden’ concept was starting to get tough psychologically. As I realized that it had a strong hold over me.
STRIPPING AWAY
I first removed Halal meats that I thought were cleaner, but The Most High showed me that they were all unclean. Either filthy practices or sacrificed to idols. So I had to go to the ultimate phase of removing it all.
I didn’t want to reduce to fish, as in my case, I knew that I had to take the leap of faith and even go a little ‘cold turkey’ pun intended.
What was amazing at this point was that the food I started eating was so much more flavorsome than could imagine. I couldn’t believe it. I knew that The Most High was basically answering my doubting the food could be good without meat and meat gravy added.
Some of this resonated long enough for me to kick the need to have meat.
It does present new challenges, however.
The first one was “what do I eat instead?” and I’m working on that one, as I can’t eat lentils forever.
The second challenge is to do this without gaining weight. I initially gained a lot of weight, as my diet was all over the place, with food experimentation and the huge increase in carbs. What point is there in cleansing the temple of one thing, to destroy it another way?
These two challenges will reduce in time, but obedience to cleaning out the temple has allowed for the sacrifices being made to be without grudge.
This has been the big takeaway (pun intended) That Yah makes a way, even though you may not see it at first.
I’ve even managed to get a juicer so that I can get most of the nutrients and minerals from the garden raw without them being boiled, fried, or baked away.
SUMMARY
These verses summarise what I have been going through regarding temple purification.
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Please bear in mind that I’m assuming you can look past the words in the copied and translated English scriptures and use the correct ones (eg. we do not call Him God – He has a name, and He is The Most High Yahuah)
