You are better off getting the vitamins & minerals your body needs naturally, but there are times when you either cannot afford the right foods, or you need to supplement to maintain the right levels of vitamins and minerals.
Just be careful about checking if they contain Gelatin (likely Pork), or are Halal (Foods sacrificed to idols) or contain Shellfish.
I only recently got knowledge about these things, so I am sharing this, as I want us to all consume righteous food.
I was researching this with regard to the capsules in many supplements, but this is true for many foods we eat today.`
Personally, I will avoid foods where they are in any way sacrificed to Idols.
